Grindcore is a challenging genre it's own way. Beyond the largely inaccessible ferocity it takes a certain amount of patience to be able to distinguish bands a part, picking out the flash-quick riffs that stand out in their own ironically subtle way (admittedly, something I'm just learning to do myself.) Sometimes though, something just connects. There's nothing too tangible about what it is they're doing right, but Fuck The Facts really hit the nail on the head with Die Miserable.

Absolutely love this band. Their new EP, Amer, continues forth their unbridled and unique sound. What remains refreshing about Fuck The Facts some 14 years after their inception is the strength of their ability to remain authentic and and innovating. Here is a review I posted to my site regarding their newest EP, Amer.

FTF can be surprisingly enjoyable and memorable in contrast to general grindcore that they make it too noisy to stand them till the end of the albums.

That's true, but sometimes I really have the impression they almost go too melodic towards the end of their albums haha. They usually start with such hateful and energic tracks, it's almost hard to recognise them when you get to the closing track. But that's great too, I'm not complaining. It's one of the very few grind bands that knows how to lower the tempo and develop an atmosphere.

Exactly that's what I meant and what I like about them. BTW, I guess you may like their recent EP more.

You're reminding me about it, I'll get to it today.
