08:51 - Apothecary It's like it's saying "those things, that you thought were buried deep in your mind's recesses.... I am bringing them out." So, "disturbing" in a different sense of the word, I guess
08:50 - Apothecary I'm not in Vindsval's head of course, but I look at MoRT as channeling the nature of the human unconscious, and that's what's so off-putting about it in a way because its paradoxical structured/formless aura somehow reflects that
08:25 - Jaeryd Gnaw Their Tongues is something I would call disturbing though, yes.
08:23 - Jaeryd MoRT, disturbing or scary? Twisted, dark, insane, and brilliant, yes, but there's much more unsettling stuff out there.
08:14 - Apothecary If you liked I Shall Die Here, you might want to investigate the work of The Haxan Cloak farther, the guy they collabed with for it. Pretty nice if you're into the ambient stuff [link]

I am on what has become now a 3 day GTT binge, and have found that youtube has most of the EP's in full. This one is great. Harrowing noise with slight orchestral elements behind the wall of torture. For those who love Mories, but haven't delved too far into the EP's and other miscellaneous releases by GTT, I highly recommend you do. Quite a lot of fantastic material to be found.
The title track is arguably the most intense GTT in his discog (that I've heard so far). The album pretty much maintains that throughout too. Possibly not one I'll listen to that much but it's certainly a noteworthy GTT release, and with one of the best cover arts too.
