This album has to be the biggest surprise for me this year. I just happened to stumble acrosss it while reading about another band and I had no idea what to expect. The music is unlike anything I have heard before having a strong retro doom vibe mixing in flute and organ elements along with female vocals that blend in perfectly.

It is certainly not for everyone, but personaly I found the album highly enjoyable!

Following on from the greatness of their debut album, Blood Ceremony waste no time in expanding their sound on 'Living...', even if the quality is slightly less than its predecessor. There really are some great surprising moments on here, most notably on epic opener 'The Great God Pan' and the sinister 'Oliver haddonfield'. I just love this band.

The debut was already good and here the songs really start to kick ass. I enjoy most the songs #1 and #6, that karatekid mentioned already, with the addition of "Morning Of The Magicians".

Phenomenal album. Though strongly influenced by Black Sabbath I think the band is finding their sound in this album.
