This is cool. I like when new album is announced close to the releasing date. When it's done and ready to be launched. Then it's not like a year of waiting (or in some cases years or infinity)

Plastichead is the official distributor though. There's no reason for them to lie. There's also the option to buy. There's also apparently some mention of the album in some zine that is linked to on the official site.
Personally I'm hoping for something that sounds a lot like the self titled, but we all know that's not what we're gonna get.

I listened to it once now . . . actually it seems that i was listening to some glemselens clones! . . . generally Belus was much more better than this new one. . . is it really black metal ?!

No. it is definitely better than Belus in every aspect .... the vocals are more varied and the cleans actually work  the drums though being repetitive are well recorded and sounds very good overall . plus there aren't a lot of boring moments which Belus had much of
it is not the best thing ever nor it is the best that Varg has done but it is very good indeed

Riffa are so catchy and memorable , but the music is too lighter than to be Black Metal , clean vocal ( with humming! in its style ) is not so pleasant .( as varg said in his site Fallen is so inspired by what we hear in Belus ) totally this album is a good one if you dont look for Black metal or some dark art!

Varg wasnt kidding when he said it combines the old, new and experimental. I personally like this better than Belus, and Belus, as far as im concerned, was great. And for whether its black metal or not, I dont really care. Its just good music.

It's really deep.
I used to listen to Burzum in the rainy days only.
I waited for the rain and it was perfect with the nature harmony and the melancholic atmosphere.
it's just .. perfect.

So far, this is probably my favorite Burzum release thus far. His sound has evolved so much more from the raw black metal approach he'd been taking for so long. Some people may think that's a bad thing, but I think a little change is exactly what Varg needed to implement. The riffs are really catchy and the clean vocals are pretty decent!

Fucking great album. Alot of clean vocal work - different but he's done it very well. Definitely an improvement on Belus in my opinion.

I haven't downloaded the album so I have just checked out tracks from youtube, It's weird though since I don't see it as crap, it's at least 10 times better than the horribly monotonous and boring Belus and I like the clean vocals... But it's not so good either. I would probably give it a 7,0... Sio I don't know where a 7,0 falls on the scale of the bet. Maybe I should just change my avatar or custom name? Idk XD

Yeah I haven't really checked out the full album myself. I think the bet said that the album should suck for the two of you to be spared from any Edward Cullen related fate. Its not the best album in the world but I dont think it exactly sucks per se. Probably time for an avatar change IMO.
