Almost the same here - a bit disappointing record, although there are some very great songs on it - but the others are quite boring. "Your Tomorrow" is my new favourite though

Alternates between great and 'meh' at times. from songs to riffs to performance. Even production - which at times turns me off until suddenly a riff comes in, sounds great, gets me fired up, thinking maybe i was wrong... until another weak-sounding section.
to a certain extent this is almost like "Blind", which had really hit or miss tracks, only with awesome production.

Considering that it's been a while since the last album and also the fact that Keenan is absent, this album is pretty decent. The vocals on here for the most part really don't work for me yet the guitar work is still pretty solid on songs like 'The doom' and 'What you despise is what you've become'.
