This is a death metal supergroup. One of your fat, fan fiction writing ass's dream bands. Think of it as the death metal equivalent of Ocean's 12. Only, instead of George Clooney and Julia Roberts, you've got Attila and Blasphemer. And instead of Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, you've got Flo Mounier and Steve Tucker. And so on. Apt comparison? Uh, not really. But how many times are you given the opportunity to compare Julia Roberts to Blasphemer? Certainly no more than twice a month.

This is about as thick, crude, and altogether awesome as its subject matter: oil. Easily one of the better death metal albums of the year.

The name makes me think it's an arabic name, Nader Sadek, but there's nothing else. The lyrics, the album cover, the members... Are the members arabic? And what's oriental here?

Well.. its not an oriental album, they don't play oriental riffs or anything, and the name Nader Sadek is the name of the founder of this band, he is an Egyptian, and all the members who played in this album are either guests or session members.

To expand on what JD said the members are all very well known in the death metal world...the creator, Nader Sadek, is a visual arts mastermind and he created the concept for the album and will also be creating the stage show when the band goes on tour but did not actually write or perform any the music but I'm sure he was there to give ideas for how how wanted the music to sound, like a director...

Cannot stop listening to this album. He accomplished quite a bit in such a limited amount of time. Fantastic stuff.

The only thing I don't like about this is its length. It should have been like 5-10 minutes longer. But that's a very small annoyance.

I rather have an album that is a bit too short than an album that is too long. The first one speaks of potential... The second one of lack of proper songwriting skills.
