I really like this album, but it is a little monotonous for me. "Andacht" still their best.

I think Andacht is their best as well (one of my favorite albums of all time), but this comes in a very close second for me. Amazing album, it really grew on me after cruising around town with my speakers blasting.

Remind me why I was even excited for this to be released.

^because pretty much everything they did before was excellent (specially after "ending" with Andacht) ?
I actually like it, it's decent atmo-bm. But expectations where high, and some of my favorite elements from previous albums are gone on this one.

Pretty much, although I don't know if I'd call them amazing. Definitely a name I quickly learned to expect quality material from, but unfortunately this time around it seems that expectation has in no way been met.

Great album. The intro to Sterna reminds of Walknut, which is never a bad thing I guess. Some songs were great, others were less great, but in general, it's an awesome album.
