Goatwhore are another one of those bread-n-butter type bands. Take some great riffs, furious vocals, then let them loose at top speed. When it's done wrong, it's boring as shit. When it's done right - like Blood For The Master, it's just pure, angry fun.

08.02.2012 Goatwhore have finally seemed to find their niche. Furiously awesome...thrash?...Death n roll?...Black n roll? Who the hell knows. This is just simply awesome.

This. Extremely well-done album in every regard. Flawless production.

Sounds like a slightly more melodic Haunting Curse... I like it.

I'm surprised by the fact that I enjoyed this so much.

Rating: 7 Just as solid as the last album, though this time for me the stronger songs are in the second half of the album. And essentially, that's why I've given it the same rating, because it took me a while to actually get into this record, longer so than previous Goatwhore albums. Maybe it's the placement of tracks, I don't know. Anyway, very solid stuff here as always, the highlights for me being "Embodiment of This Bitter Chaos" and the excellent "An End to Nothing".
