"Math"..."Kermit The Prog"...What's in a name, eh? Now, here I am anticipating some full-blown, unabashed wankery. I mean, generally speaking, when I come across overly proggy bands, all I hear is a bunch of people who, if it weren't for their preoccupation with their instruments, would be waving their dicks in your face. Sacred Ally on the other hand is a treat; instead of musical meat-spin, it's just a series of awesome riffs being tossed at you in rapid succession.

Here's something that doesn't suck for you; a nice little prog-thrash hybrid cram-packed with awesome riffs. Don't like prog? Neither do I. Somehow, this just works, though.

Found this on ms awards 2011. AWESOME! the vocalist is average and there are also some not great moments but generally this band plays awesome MUSIC. the LEAD guitarist is at least AWESOME. almost all the leads and solos are great. the music parts of this album are just perfect!

Yeah, I'm not too biggie on the vocals but the riffs man... the fucking riffs! They are enough for me to be in the top three of the nominees.

yeah me too! though sometimes (mainly cause i've seen some live-videos of the band) the seem like a joke band and the vocals (especially when he sings) are not that good. instead of this i find this album very ENJOYABLE. i mean that it pleases me in a very different way than most albums do. this album is refreshing and offers to the listener awesome "music parts". the soloing parts of the album are AWESOME. i cant forget how much i like the strange little solo in the beginning of Kermit The Prog (at 00':37''). so strange and SATISFYING for the listener!
sorry for repeating myself but this album caused it

I like the whole amalgamation of styles one hears on this record: thrash, folk, power, NWOBHM... but while they unleash this freaking riff storm, the whole thing sounds a bit repetitive and underwhelming for some reason. Plus, too much Iron Maiden .

Exactly. I definitely heard some Aces High and Purgatory regurgitation.
