Welcome to part 2 of the Marriage Saga! This Saga, which consists of 'The Marriage of Heaven and Hell parts 1 and 2' and 'Invictus', centers on Endyamon and Emalaith and their story of love that never dies. In my opinion, Virgin Steele display their uniqueness of songwriting, lyrical topics, and instrumentation truly for the first time with this album. It contains work from 3 different drummers, but Frank Gilchriest (who plays on 3 tracks) decided to stay with Virgin Steele for good afterwards and what a blessing that was!

I se band has 2 albums whit part I and II why not part III?

My 1th album from this band, so far I thought its killer, after going around all band albums in relise year order I take 1 or 1.5 points away from this
Not bad but not so good , but ÍMO VS to be perfect they need relise best of , I like songs , idea but still somehow this doesnt work or its only my feelings
Or my problem is I like diferet genres bands and I have no idols and I dont die for music idols Maybe Im poswer? fake metalhead?

I realy like somngs Unholy Watter and Victory Is Mine , best songs from band ever iMO , even I dont know rest albums ok I know last, but I doubt band wrote better, and those 2 songs works only together when you play one after another !!!

Rating: 9 Pretty amazing songs again, but unlike pt. 1, I think this one has some weak songs. That said, the album is still great if you take the weaker songs out it's still enough for a full length cuz the album is 65+ mins.

Ironic how many 80s metal bands started to suck in 90s but VS started to truly kick ass then... Guess somebody has to fill the void of ass kicking
