18:18 - Alex Lemon Glad to see you added Desire's sophomore release as opposed to their debut. While I enjoy both, their second full length is their best imo
18:12 - EMols86 [link] So I just added Arcturus, Desire, Disillusion, Nocturnus and Shape Of Despair albums to my list. Definitely an improvement.
17:19 - scapeplan [link] "Anything but Heavy Metal": A paper on the influences of not liking music, relating to subjects such as racism and classism.
15:56 - Apothecary I love the punk feel of this, like Kvelertak on PCP [link]
15:52 - EMols86 @Jaeryd17 that's pretty cool (and insane if it were real), but I've heard of that concept before. @huascaman probably in the top 20 of best movies I've ever seen (for the record, I've seen 1200+ movies :P).
01. Antropophobia (Thoughts Of An Angel) 02. Lucifer's Scream 03. Suicide Of Genius 04. When The Dark Angel Cried 05. Beauty Of Chaos 06. Scream In Emptiness 07. In The Night 08. Light Kills 09. It's All Over
BadMoodMan music hails one man musical project Antropophobia (I guess if you are afraid of people, as the choice in band name infers, it makes sense to be a solo project) as dark metal. I guess that makes sense.
Scream In Emptiness sees Dmitry Konovalov cull various elements of different genres and fuse them into one cohesive sound. Within you'll find the misanthropic lyrics and rasped vocals of black metal, the melancholy of doom, even occasional Gilmour-era Pink Floyd-style solos, combined with mid-paced distorted riffing, all drenched in an atmospheric keyboard cocoon.
D'fak is this doing in the nominations for the Doom section ?
There was a massive debate about this album and the staff and elites were split down the middle. Totally should have been put in the black section in my opinion but somehow logic went out the window that day and the majority (by one person I think) voted it for doom.

And it's not even up to the standards of the rest of the nominees
