The legacy of mythic German hard-rock band Accept brought us the band U.D.O. whose front man is no other than Accept singer Udo Dirkschneider. Not really far from the original sound of Accept, U.D.O. sounds basically like AC/DC meets Manowar meets Judas Priest i.e. a blend of good old Hard Rock and pure Heavy Metal. The distinctive voice of Udo hasn't changed an inch and still rocks the world although it could be disturbing if it's the first time you encounter his voice. This is awesome album , 1th UDO album for me and half way thanks to ms back in a days. Thunderball, Altbiter, The Land Of Midnight Sun, Trainride In Russia, Blind Eyes and Hardcore Lover are awesoem somngs So far non of Udo albums has so many stand out songs. Old accept was better as new udo, old udo is better as mid and maybe late accept. I am waiting for summer, then copy one song in MP3 player, and go to a bit further north and enjoy it there in  what song , if you can guess, I will buy you a beer.

The production ruins this record. The programmed drums sounds hideous and holds back the songs. It's not that I think the songs would be great with better production but they lack the punch that made Holy and Solid really good. Thunderball is a great fast track and the mid-tempo stomper The Bullet & The Bomb is fun but other than that it's mostly average UDO. The ballad Blind Eyes is pretty solid though, weird sudden ending though.
