After the strong Subjective Enemy I was expecting something similar but this is quite far from that sadly. The production is terrible, not sure what it is but it sounds very compressed and chaotic. The songwriting is totally different where modern metal influences and boring guitar chugging seems to be the main focus. I don't know if this was just a experiment or an actual direction they wanted to go, no matter which it's not a fun listen.
