What a terrible way to spend ~50 minutes. When I'm listening to this album I'm reminded of Anvil, who seems to have some taken some elements from ST to their music. When it comes to Anvil though they have some good albums like their debut, Metal On Metal and Forged In Fire, while Spinal Tap doesn't even appear to aim to making anything worthwhile. The album is a turd to put it short, a turd in an audio form, so if they didn't achieve anything else by this album at least they managed to convert a turd in to audio. So when the music is bad and the band is obviously posers - who according my guess were motivated by something else than creating some amazing piece of music - leaves only one thing that could make this album unsuck and that is the joke/humour factor which pretty obviously the main theme here. I'm not here to judge whether it's good or bad, or is it hilarious or is it not, all that I'm writing here is that I didn't get much out of it personally, and humour as I've seen is very subjective phenomenon, so sure, it could work for other people. To conclude, I do think think this is quite probably the worst thing ever.
