"When All Is Black" sounds like Heroes Del Silencio playing black metal.
And it sounds awesome.

Thumbs up for the band's effort. It's very original despite the fact that it has elements from long forgotten musical genres.

I finally got around to check this out and must say that, while the BM aspect is rather light, it corresponds to the lightheartedness of the whole effort which is what makes it all come together so well.
There are some sections that seem a bit disjointed and "Let your devil..." does feel a bit weak, but this is really catchy and interesting metal.

This album just oozes of playful creativity and is so much fun to listen to. It has a very distinct sound that I instantly fell in love with. Much of this is due to the contrast between the consistent, almost creepy, psychedelic undertones and the straight up catchy craziness from time to time.
If I had to complain about something, it would probably have to be that the clean vocals sometimes had a tendancy to annoy me ever so slightly. But at the same time they do have a sense of charm about them which suits the music quite nicely so it is not that big of a deal.

I'm going to give this a ten.Not because it's perfect it's because they deserve it.
Looking forward to their future work.

I imagine this guys vocal work would honestly go well on a soundtrack to some old western film.
