@Troy Killjoy How are you supposed to appreciate COB's riffs? Judging by your favourite bands they are not even close to any of genres you prefer. So, why bother commenting? It's like if I was to judge Burzum,Mayhem etc while I don't have any black metal taste. Lame.

I've been asking myself that for a few years now. It's very difficult to appreciate something so dull.
As for why I bother commenting... I dunno. Maybe because I used to really like the band and they were one of the first "extreme" bands I listened to when getting into metal. Or maybe I just take pleasure in the fact I have an opinion and I like to express it. Comment on Burzum and Mayhem threads if you want, I could care less.

Well, some people have have more important things to do than wasting their time judging bands that don't intrest them at all. Apparently you have a lot of free time and nothing else to do. Good for you.

Only by the massive overuse of phrase which makes no sense
Saying "I could care less" = you actually care about something. In Troy's case it's clear as day he was trying to say that he didn't care. The phrase and his meaning did not match up.

I used to like CoB, but after awhile I just started to think, "wow, this is pretty boring."
I still YT SIlent Night, Bodom Night sometimes just for shits and giggles.

Couldn't agree more. Another one that annoys me is people's overuse of the phrase 'at the end of the day'. Grammatically speaking it's a fine phrase, but there's only so much shite that can happen at the end of one day

Yeah, that's nauseating. I respect Bodom, because they were one of the first hardcore metal bands I listened to, I didn't get the chance to listen to old school metal first, but now I do, and it's mostly thanks to these drunks, today I fucking love metal (except metalcore, metalcore sucks). That's my reason. And I don't care if people give Bodom stick for not being as good as they were, they've been there at the top and have made some pretty awesome singles... As I said, haters gonna hate.
PS. Alexi Laiho is a guitar riff prodigy.
