When prepping for this you should do two things: 1. Bubble wrap your shit and 2. put that neck brace your doctor gave you after that golfing accident on. We've got the most convulsive movements-inducing brutal tunes of 2012 so far on our hands here. That's just an objective fact. Resistance are a Belgian, deathcoreish death metal outfit that you've all forgotten about. Even after Thryce's awesome review of their last album from a couple years ago. And shame on everyone for that. These guys are better at what they do than a large chunk of modern death acts. Think Benighted meets a stack of waffles, a slightly higher GDP, and deathcore. Don't mean breakdown + breakdown + tortured pig vox + breakdown deathcore either, I mean stomp around and flail your arms because it's brutal deathcore. The good kind. Read more ›› |
