2013
Following the logic of Time 1 and assuming Time 1 will be out by the end of 2012, this should be out by 2019.

BoxCar Willy - 29.05.2012 at 21:27
I will look at this post in 2021 when this is released, and laugh.

Rebecca Black is still a thing.

Haha. 5 years left boys.
TrollandDie - 29.05.2012 at 23:03
So I guess Time is relative now.

I'll be here all week folks, don't forget to tip your waitress.
Uldreth - 29.05.2012 at 23:23
This is gonna released 6 years later because the album artwork is too complex to be done in time by human beings.
JakeTheSage - 29.05.2012 at 23:29
Wasn't there a plan to release two Time albums by the end of the year (stop laughing) simultaneously?

It would make sense out of the eight year wait. A little bit of sense.
PowerThrash - 30.05.2012 at 04:04
People who get on every Time related forum just to bash and say the same old annoying over-used jokes need to realize that you are as bad as fanboys. If you don't like the band then fine, but I get sick of reading about it, just like you probably got sick of reading fanboy comments.

As if Time is out, now they're preparing to release a "Time 2"?

Interesting...

As long as they retain their quality I can wait another 5 years.

The explanation was that Time parts 1 & 2 are essentially from the same sessions, not two whole separate entities.

Oh yes, I see, guess they need some extra dough after several latent years.

HAHAHAHA So much win!

Great, now I have to follow two threads on Metal Storm to read the predictable yet enjoyable Time-jokes...

Let's see if Time comes out when it's supposed to first before we even begin to worry about II's release.
bloodwrage - 09.09.2012 at 04:01
I'm just going to leave my prediction that Time II will have some sort of fat Samurai on it right here.
Fredd - 14.10.2012 at 20:43
This is going to be awesome.
Void Eater - 14.10.2012 at 21:17
If it can compare to Time 1, then we already have the album of 2013. Guess I'm now one of those annoying Wintersun fanboys that everybody complains about now. I regret nothing.
ablis89 - 15.10.2012 at 03:13
Well Time II will have The Way of the Fire, and Silver Leaves(which Jari calls the best song he ever wrote). Those 2 songs alone should satisfy most.
LordHypnos - 20.10.2012 at 01:43
It took 8 years for Jari to release Time 1, now it'll take another year for Time 2... Come on, Jari! Stop being a troll and release part 2 already!
Dentura - 25.10.2012 at 18:17
I can't wait, Part 2 is going to be just as (if not more) awesome as Part 1. Hearing these two parts together should be eargasmic.
BoxCar Willy - 25.10.2012 at 20:11
I sincerely hope this will be better than the first one.

I sincerely hope this will be better than the first one.

According to a ton of people this will have more solos and complex songwriting... which won't necessarily make it better
Sword_Chant - 09.11.2012 at 15:34
8 years to release Time I and then this album to follow.. I think none of us know what to expect. Hopefully they keep to their word about the 2013 release though. If the album is anything like the first one I should think i'll be satisfied (fanboy remarks to follow) lol
erat - 15.11.2012 at 14:16
It seems Jari bought a new computer
btbamfan20 - 16.11.2012 at 23:35

You're being sarcastic, right? I think it's awful they split it into two parts. It's supposed to be one 2-disc album if you ask me (since 40 minutes per album is too short). Jari could learn a thing or two from Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon) when it comes to double disc albums.

I'm only buying Time I when Time II is released, which will probably be next year. On second thought, it might as well be 2014, knowing how difficult it seems to be for this band to release their albums on time.
Kuroboshi - 27.01.2013 at 03:43
Well "I" was a total letdown. I hope for his sake that this is better.

Well I know a good quantity of 40 min and less albums that are considered masterpieces The lenght just doesnt matter if everything's good. Doesn't have to be too long if its to put some idiotic fillers.

Some of the best examples: Helloween - Keeper of the Seven keys Pt. 1 (37 min), or Slayer - Reign In Blood (28 min), Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden (40 min), Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast (40 min)

So yeah...

Hehe, I didn't expect anything less, with a thrash list like that (since most thrash albums are "short"). But you're right, the length doesn't matter a lot if the music is good. However, that doesn't change the fact that Wintersun is ridiculous when it comes to releasing their albums. They should've just made the damn full album and release it in 2013 instead of two albums in 2012 and 2014 (which could very well be delayed until 2015 or 2016, knowing them).

Yeah you're definitely right about releasing their stuff That is true.

But yeah about thrash... its not always short, I'd say its pretty much like any other big genres really. It varies.
Grind though lol... Thats usually pretty short.
Ensiferrous - 25.03.2013 at 05:59
I didn't know about Wintersun until a few months ago. I guess I had the advantage of not having to wait 8 years for an album to be released lmfao.
