Source?
Not in an official website yet nor on facebook or Myspace. I think source must have been taken from other Metal website.

I've been listening to In Yumen-Xibalba and if this is any indication of what the album will sound like then I must say it will be good. In Yumen-Xibalba sounds great I think.

There's always one dickhead that says they "own" every upcoming album listed on this site.
Edit: 2/22, I am one of the dickheads that has the album a week before the album comes out.

This is some very very nice music here, original and intriguing! I had zero expectations for this album after the last one, but found myself pleasantly surprised!

I was really bored by this album. They spent way too much time trying to build up atmosphere with world music sections and long interludes and forgot to include the soaring guitar antiquity that made albums like Triarchy of the Lost Lovers great. In a word: meh.

It's a good album. I myself am comparing it to their previous albums and this is something that's for sure getting some replay from me.

Awesome album. Little similar to last two albums, but with more chanting and atmosphere. Long rot the christ.

I don't like Black Metal when it gets too serious , this was boring and meaningless for the most part .

"Cine iubeste si lasa" is a cover of a song by Maria Tanase - a well known romanian folklore singer, who was, ironically, also a spy for the Romanian Secret Services.
Briefly, the song is about the curse of god over the deceiving people.
Unexpected and pleasant presence on the album, at least for me...

Never checked out this band before, I heard a couple of tracks out of this album and it sounds great. And that cover song is fantastic.

Another solid album from Rotting Christ. Very glad I started getting into these after having discovered Septic Flesh.

Another great album although it is different. Even Sakis's voice is different yet more aggresive. Every song is a musical journey full of images. Dark album with much power. Not better than it's predecessors but still pure gold for the listener.

Please someone change the line-up. It is only Sakis and Themis on this album. RC are a two piece band now and the rest are live members. also Andreas left the band months ago.
The title is pronounced 'Kata to demona eaftou"

I love this. It's crazy.
The song names are amazing too.
P'unchaw kachun - Tuta kachun = Incan for "Let there be day, let there be night!"
Cine iubeşte şi lasă = Romanian for "Who Loves And Leaves'
Русалка = Bulgarian/Russian for Naiad.
All as far as I can tell, anyway.

Great album! After "Aealo" I had my doubts but no more - Rotting Christ is back in power.
P.S. It seems that Sakis wanted to set the world record for the quantity of different languages used on one musical album (at least, for metal).

My first album by Rotting Christ and I'm little disappointed. It's not really bad but I didn't hear some great songs, nothing really extraordinary. However I will listen to the most rated "Theogonia" to get a final opinion of the band.

I'm impressed with this record. The production is crystalline (some people won't like that), the performance is as good as you'd expect for guys who've been rocking this for 25 years, the songs are beautifully-structured and atmospheric, there's a nice slow / fast dynamic all the way through, some non-metal moments which add a lot of depth, and catchy everythings .. the vocals, the guitars, the drums all have their moments.
There are a few dull passages, 'Rotting Christ doing what they do', let's say (albeit very very well), but overall this album is an interesting musical trip, played by a band who really know and love what they do and still manage at times to make it feel fresh.
I'd like to say it sounds like they've found their style, finally, but they'll be off somewhere else next time. That's why - hit-and-miss as they can be - they're still one of my favourite bands.
[top moment for me is at 3'23" of In Yumen - Xibalba (an awesome song, simply awesome). It's actually one of the best and funniest things I've ever heard on a metal record. All playing full speed, they stop on a penny, Themis clicks his sticks three times and they launch back into the blur flawlessly. Never fails to make me smile...]
