As with all the finer things, there are highly specific do's and don'ts when it comes to pairing Clutch discs with booze. Toss on The Elephant Riders, say, and you won't want to reach for a fifth of rum--that would be exceedingly barbaric of you--save that for their self-titled. Rather, if you want to be a human being and complement the wobbly sloshing-ness of its tunes, you should grab some mugs of a strong American pale ale. The combination will, take my word, lead to quivering liver orgasms of only the highest, most cultivated orders.

Maryland's finest go once more unto the breach with their 7,494th studio album. Earth Rocker is a DC Sound Attack, featuring a bunch of songs heavy on crucial velocity. The Wolfman and I both kindly request you check this one out. MWHAAHHAHAHAHhAHAAHHAAHGFHGH!

"It has a lot in common with Blast Tyrant in that Machine's production techniques are really unique. It differs from Blast Tyrant and a lot of other CLUTCH records in that, overall, the songs are faster and concise." So completely 100 percent sold already.

I have loved this band for a very long time. They are pretty much a part of me, I can place songs from them to parts of my life. So almost anything they put out I would be able to find something to enjoy. Well quite honestly if I would introduce someone to Clutch this would would be the first album I would show them. It's simple and to the point, but shows this bands best qualities and that's some great yet unique rock& roll!!!

"Unto the Breach" with that slide buzzsaw riff is hard rock bliss; and a nice, fat production that is reminiscent of Blast Tyrant. It's a welcome change from the thin sound of Strange Cousins From the West.

Do you think I'll like? It's just a matter of time before I listen to it though.

How can you not like the drive like Clutch? Definitely worth a shot. I haven't listened much to them, the previous album went kind of by. Live they are nothing less than brilliant, that much I can tell you. And this album seriously rocks. It might wear off with time, who knows. As long as it lasts, it's a high.

I've been shamefully neglecting Clutch. Would this be a good place to start?

Awesome album, and one that certainly proves why Clutch is one of the best Hard Rock bands around today. The title track, 'D.C. Sound attack!' (That harmonica!) and 'Unto the breach absolutely rock my socks!

Just got to around one more...no nth time to spin this beauty and it's as terrific as everytime. With every listen, I get fucking closer to Earth Rocker.

Every song here is a fucking party anthem. If I ever have to invite Metal Storm community to a club, sure as hell, I'd be spinning "Cyborg Bette" on repetition.
