My feels with Cormorant last year. Except that they were not my discovery and they ended up on my top 5 of all time. I was proud when they won the cover art contest too. INDIES for the win!

"Suncatcher" and "Storm Along" are splendid. Nice progressive folk and a pleasant exception in the genre.

There is still hope in new metal bands I see... Foh realz, I was about to give up searching for new metal bands but I'm glad that I found Wilderun! Some Fresh Metal and ffs it's actually a fresh Folk Metal band keeping the veterans standard!

Turisas meets Dream Theater?
I'd say more Turisas meets Opeth. Vocals sound just like Mathias Nygård or Mikael Åkerfeldt at times.
