09:33 - Cynic Metalhead Scape, you "us", broke all the records of showing up. From the next time, i'll keep in mind wearing Cannibal Corpse when my stinking dean hands me over the PG degree.

Mgla's Presence is the latest obscure underground black metal oddity that has reached me through various strange channels and while it is in no way ground breaking or innovative, it does at least to some extent challenge my usual assertion that black metal elitists are a group of idiots. Then again, this mCD is actually being released by Northern Heritage (and not on crummy CDRs by the band itself), which means that I am not the only one who sees some promise in Mgla.
Perhaps their best, but that just goes to show that they were nothing remotely special and how overrated they've become. Never got the hype. The fuss over the recent one is practically inexplicable.

Definitely never special. This being my favorite would get about a 7.8
