Pretty lame album title I reckon but hopefully it will be decent enough. Interesting that Brad Wilk will be recording the drums.

With Brad on drums and everybody else on board with this album I think its going be a great album. I dont think its going to be a good as their older albums but I think it will be a solid 8 out of 10. But lets see how this pans out.

I can feel a very strong vibes coming from this album that will break "include-13-in-album-title-that-will-automatically-sucks" jinx.

Lets see if Sabbath can recover their old glory.

Maybe they were counting the number of times the defribulator had to come out when recording the album?

Why did they have to choose the most unoriginal album title. They've had such good album titles up until now. But I'm sure Geezer and Tonni playing together again is enough to make the music awesome. Here's hoping the album title and the fact that Bill Ward is missing are the only things that suck about this album.

I think the opening riff of the album should just be the riff from the song "Black Sabbath".
That would make my nuts tingle

Too bad it sounds like shit, but I liked it. Epic bass lines near the end, good riffs and they can fool you into thinking that Ozzy can sing decently.
It'll probably work better on the album.

I like it. It's grown on me every listen (around 5 or so repeats now). First listen I thought it was a bit of a slow burner, with quite a good ending, but the more I listen, the more I enjoy it. I'm looking forward to this album.

Sounds like they're trying something between their debut and Paranoid. It's not bad, certainly a lot better than I expected. Zeitgiest sounds a bit like an attempt at creating another Planet Caravan, and Age Of Reason has a hell of a solo. Ozzy's vocals aren't too shabby, either.

Hmm... not quite sure how I feel about this one yet, I'll give it another couple of listens before giving my final opinion. However, I can say it is quite a bit better than I was expecting. For 3 men in their mid-60s to be coming up with material as good as this, is surprising definitely! Ozzy actually sounds decent, but that could be because of studio trickery, I dunno... though his voice clearly isn't as smooth as it used to be. I'm not sure if this one is going to be worthy of sitting alongside their 70's classics, but it is better than I was expecting. It's nice to see that Tony can still come up with some monster riffs!

Can someone please go and kill Rick Ruboin? My God he once again totally ruins something with his wall of sound approach to production. he never allows the music to breathe AT ALL and what did he do to Iommi's guitar tone? And Geezer's bass?
