Ravenous Plague is, through and through, a pretty good album. The riffing will snag you with all its barbs and rusted hooks, and it'll hurt in a pretty good kind of way. Legion Of The Damned make pretty solid tunes.

This is just missing something is all, and I don't know exactly what that something is. There's a lacking x-factor here somewhere.

Old school death metal with some thrash and chicken. Simple but not bad.

Haha no not usually. It's pretty complimentary. Unless you don't like chicken (genre)

Ravenous Plague suffers a bit from its monotony I think. Although the combination of Thrash Metal with some sinister Behemoth-style Death Metal works quite fine for me. Nothing too great, but a good Album after all. Has to be my favorite for January, since the opposition is that weak (at least in my opinion).

Legion of the Damned will always have a special place in my heart. They are the reason I found this wonderful site that I have devoted a lot of personal time to over the last 3+ years. So as always, I enjoy their music yet again. It's not original, unique or fresh, but that fucking chugging thrash rhythm they use in every song still always makes me headbang along anyway.
