Following the excellent album Something Wicked This Way Comes, Iced Earth released The Melancholy EP including the studio versions of excellent ballads such as 'Melancholy ', 'Watching Over Me' and 'I Died For You' but also three covers and a previously unreleased live track from their must Alive In Athens.

I really don't understand why I can't stop listening to Melancholy! this might be the 20th time I'm listening to it. I guess I can live with Iced Earth as long as they have powerful ballads like "Melancholy"I've always had problem with comprehending their music, no matter how hard I tried, until I stumbled upon this EP and I'm sure I've made the right choice by giving it 9/10

In that time 3 cover + 1 live songs was why you need to have it if yoou're IE fan, otherwise all is in Birth re lease album and this EP dont make sence and cover well BS was weeker, stronger was BC and then JP even part when he sing Riper something was wrong whit his neck
Live was OK but why they pic up this one
well this strategy relise EP worked, wonder how much they sold this one?
