18:15 - Overrwatcher Borgore was part of a metalcore band on early Sumerian, he was grandfathered in. I mostly see his releases on Spinnin Records anyway. Coming from someone who likes dubstep, he's not very good.
Writing a review for August Burns Red is a bit of a challenge. It's not so much that their sound is difficult to describe. Rather, the group's extremely consistent output of technically-inclined metalcore lends itself to redundancy from reviewing one album to the next. But while it may not be the band's best album (an accolade I award to Constellations), Rescue And Restore is definitely their most melodic and different.
I've been a fan ever since I first heard the greatness of Constellations, and then picked up Messengers. Leveler was just alright for me, but I'm looking forward to hearing this record, I'm sure it will be great.
It is rare for a straight-up metalcore album to be good these days. August Burns Red is really the last of these groups I think can still bring it (now that As I Lay Dying is dead). This is their most melodic album yet, too.
