The black metal parts here are incredibly dark and amazing. Really good album.

Nothing experimental or avant-garde about this. But there is a heavy electronic ambiance in this and is also very dark and dissonant. Might evoke Triptykon at times.

I actually like this album on its regular, metallic moment, Kiara just does not work for me and it's rather out of place. I also have probably got a wrong download since Hunted Prey sounds like an sludge doom track for me. The rest of album can be put under "black metal, Ambient noise" tag. Is it just me or this album actually has an sludge doom song?

This shit is a genres mix, so don't be surprised

Rooted in black metal, but quiet sludgy at times I agree. "Kiara" however refers to the post-rock/post-metal movement and the closing track has some nice drone riffs.

thanks for clarification.
I actually prefer the cases that genre mixing is done in more uniform manner.
Anyway, interesting album

Great and varied album... But perhaps a bit too varied. At times I got the feeling that the album was a compilation by a label. All songs do have a common goal but some of them are very different from one another. Even if the quality is high it does feel inconsistent. I don't have much to complain though and I certainly do not regret the purchase. I get the feeling that they are better at the slow, building-up and dissonant post metal than black metal per se which just feels like an extra flavor to put on top rather than the backbone of the band.
