Rating: 5 The clean vocals are annoying man... jesus. Just avoid this one.

Rating: 6 Clean vocals are probably the main problem on this album. I mean, LaPlante does rather well when she's screaming her guts out on songs as visceral as 'Letters to Stallone' and 'Firebees', but her clean vocals don't quite do it for me. They sound really weak, but there's still time for her to work on them I guess. I'd say this is the band's best album so far, given that the song structure overall has improved, but it's still not anything special. And by the way, 'Carnage Asada' is the worst song on the album, even if it does have an appearance from Steve Vai.

Not surprised, but still a good effort.

And Steve Vai appearance sucks big balls.

Rating: 8 I like LaPlante's clean vocals a lot. They're a highlight, for me. I think the album is brilliant.

Rating: 7 The genre tag makes me interested, although I have not really listened to any metalcore and don't really know what it is.

The genre tag makes me interested, although I have not really listened to any metalcore and don't really know what it is.

The tags are incorrect in my opinion, the band plays an incoherent electronic filled metalcore with atrocious vocals. I know for a fact you would not like it.

On the contrary, I'm really liking this one. Something like a 7.5 in my book. Also, nothing wrong with clean vocals. I know why people dislike them but they do not do any harm for me.

Well fuck me then.

Why so extreme ?
On a serious note, as I said, I am a total metalcore noob, unlike you. That might explain why I like this more than you.

one thing you should note is that I'm never serious

I actually haven't heard this, but I have heard both previous albums and I couldn't finish either. This just really doesn't seem like something you'd like. Hence my surprise.

I haven't fully listened to this yet but what I heard seems fine. I cannot really throw back to previous stuffs though, because I remember some things from this band really irritated me while others I liked. In particular I remember liking "Firelord Ulrich The Breaker Of Mountains" from their first EP.
