As I know this album has been released by "Lingua Mortis Orchestra". I don't know the complete details but it seems that it's a continuation of "Lingua Mortis" .

whoa whoa hold on, man, Opeth can't just suck, they have different sides, and at least for me, a guy who had been listening to Rage for over 10 years and Opeth for like almost 5 years, Opeth is still more interesting in general (not to consider Morningrise - that's what sucks).

And one more thing - that guy who voted this album down with a 4-vote seems to be a Summoning fanboy who wants his band's album to stay first in 2013 charts

Average rating of 9.24.

Not saying that this necessarily means the album is good, but new Rage is always good for me anyway.

Never heard of LMO or Rage before this album. I don't know if it's enough to make me a "fan" of either outfit, but it was a damned good listen. I'll be spinning this one again.

First spin, not as interesting as the earlier comments and high ratings made me expect.

I will never understand how such an outstanding band like Rage has never been better known They've been here for more than 20 years and released tons of enjoyable albums. I'm not too fond of that kind of metal usually but with Rage it sounds soooo good ! Will have to give this new album a chance then

This album was officially released as the debut album of Lingua Mortis Orcherstra, not as an actuall Rage album,
of course we rage rocking and singing throughout the whole album and also it so Rage that could be very well considered as and official Rage album,
like their first Lingua Mortis album. But no, as I read on the official Rage website http://rage-on.de;

"LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA will release their new albumvia Nuclear Blast, concisely entitled "LMO". The entire album was composed by Victor Smolski except "The Devil's Bride" and "Eye For An Eye" by Peavy Wagner and Victor Smolski."

and

"The debut record "LMO" crashed the German Charts on an amazing position #24! Further entries, in Switzerland on #43 and France on #143 make the chart success even bigger. Congrats!"

So it's clearly LMO's debut album, but we can still listen to it as an Rage album without feeling any guilt

Can't get in to this one. Not sure why. Have given repeated listens. Just not grabbed me.

That's the opposite for me : from the very first moments, I fell in love with this album and wasn't disappointed when it finally came to an end after an hour or so ! Now I cannot wait to get an official copy ^^

It's very nice. I need to get more inside it, cause my first listening was into a very loud environment (my brother doing Electro arrangments at almost full volume )

Very good album, lost of diversity, tempo changes and awesome guitar play. Orchestra blends in nicely adding the final "touch" to songs. A fine addition to Symphonic genre.
