It's cool to me, I'm not a fan (generally) of longer albums. The only EP thing pretty much guarentees all killer no filler.
Fair enough. I personally prefer full length albums, though.

It'd be cool if they made two or three more EPs and then put them all on single sided 12" in a boxset. Would buy.

I don' t really remember bands doing good eps. Most of them just do it to release some new music, often not that really good and with lots of live material.

Let me introduce you to bands like Deathspell Omega, Blut Aus Nord, Jesu and Gnaw Their Tongues which have done some of their bests on EPs.

I listened to one thing or two from these bands, but none that I really enjoyed (ep or not). But yeah, looking now, people seem to enjoy their eps.

I love that each song has a completely different flavor while also managing to be really solid. The crust on the first track is a blast, and those melodies on the second track feel really unique.

I'm not an expert on crust, so someone please feel free to correct me. I don't recall crust as a defining part of Bolzer's music in any way.

First track, C.M.E., there is a recurring part with a punk-sounding beat. This portion would be considered crust. It's only in that song, thus my comments about liking how each track is different.

That song has one of the sickest riffs in recent memory. Especially when you realize it's all played on one guitar.

Yeah, I actually stopped what I was doing when that part kicked in. Very different-sounding and just super-memorable.

It's good to know we sometimes agree on things
Too bad the second EP wasn't up to par, though I'm still hopeful for the full-length.

Yeah, wtf happened. I was stoked going right from Aura to Soma and could not believe the drop in quality.
