The slow moments on this album remind me of Dolorian.

Definitely sounds like good stuff. The sort of thing the MS elites would like.

Like a doomier Abyssal / early Aevangelist.

[edit]

Totally on par with those bands too. Really varied songwriting, superb production and atmosphere. Way more death than black too.

I loved it. Don't know how this band didn't get more attention tbh.

Well, most of the time people prefer uninteresting, easy listening metal. Experimental black isnt really to everyone's tastes, sadly.

The album art is kinda crap too. I wonder if people overlooked them because of that on occasion.

Yeah, its kinda rubbish. Though it would be a stupid move to ignore a band simply because of the cover art, considering that most cover arts these days arent the most appealing anyway.

I quite often skim right past a band if I don't like the art, especially on Bandcamp =P bad habit, but it seems to work out most of the time.

I did that in the past sometimes, but it turned out that I was missing on some great bands, so I stopped it. One thing is for sure though: If I love the art, then I love the music aswell. Its pretty much always the case.
