04:37 - Apothecary I'll still always prefer SYL over Devin solo work, but that's more of a personal thing than anything else, as City and Alien were both huge stress relievers that helped me through a lot of shit in middle and high school
04:24 - ScreamingSteelUS Deconstruction took a long time to grow on me. It was the first Devy album I ever heard and I'm still somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer density of it, but I've grown to love most of the album now.
04:22 - Apothecary Deconstruction was really good and funny as fuck but I've had mixed emotions about it lately because of all the guest musicians on it. Sometimes it feels a little too grandiose for its own good

Quote: It is a lullaby of hope, and features new guy Daniel on vocals along with previous conspirator Belinda Kordic .... There's plenty of rock action on the album, so for now, as a gift from us to you for your support, you can take a moment to get lost in a more intimate track....
Not sure what I think about this. I keep playing it, not because I am in love with it but because I am not sure wth I am listening to. Is it post rock? Prog? Black? Atmospheric? Am I supposed to like it? Time and more plays will tell I guess...
It's Prog Rock with Post elements, and a little bit of atmospheric thrown in. Though this, as like Mankind, is on the proggier end. It doesn't hold the grandeur of Vigilante, nor Sadness EP, which is a shame, because grandeur is what they do best.
