Huh, you are right. I never bothered to check these guys out. Guess I should do that at some point.

Rating: 8 Good to see my French froggies come up with another album. I really enjoyed the previous one.
And of course there is the Funeralium link in this band as well due to Vincent Buisson you used to play bass in Funeralium, although he's out of the band for about 3 years now.
Troy Killjoy - 18.02.2014 at 16:32
Sweet! Their last album is one of my personal favorites, hopefully this doesn't disappoint.

Rating: 7 This album is fucking huge. Will take two months just to digest it all.

Rating: 8 Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Rating: 8 Indeed a huge album. After one spin I'm liking it a lot, but such a massive album needs more spins for sure.

This album is fucking massive. Not the first time they've impressed me this much. The guest vocals help push this an extra step further.

Get on it man. I wouldn't go so far as to say I prefer this to its predecessor only because I haven't spent nearly as much time with this one, but it's just as daunting and monolithic and will likely become a personal favorite before the end of the summer.

The first disc is streaming on Bandcamp: http://mourningdawn.bandcamp.com/album/les-sacrifi-s
Ozman - 03.08.2014 at 04:15
Rating: 8 Actually I am really ashamed of not having hear this one yet, since the band slept over at my place when they played DelftDoom, and all of them are totally stellar Frogs.

Well, I rated this even though I haven't listened to the 2nd disc yet, which is not really fair. Can I stream the 2nd disc somewhere? I can't seem to find it.

You should be. I checked this out months ago already, but only the 1st disc since I can't find the 2nd disc anywhere.

Btw, why do you call them Frogs?

Why do you think? Because they are French, duh.
It is a normal English way to call French people.

Not that I can find, no. I had to, uh, "find it elsewhere".

  Hi, Fabien from MD here.

Just there to put some pressure on Marcel so he listens to this album.

BTW, please don't consider the 2nd disc as part of the album. It really is a bonus CD, with some re-worked old material for the 10th anniversary of the band.
It's not supposed to be listened to the same way as the first CD which is a real album with coherent song writing & production.

Glad some of you like it anyway. We did put a lot of work in it, and I must say we unfortunately had really limited promotion and feedback about it.

I have listened to it by now. Now all that remains is that I still have to buy it
Maybe I'll do that in Little Devil on November 21st, who knows?
Will be great seeing you guys again for the first time after DelftDoom.
I am sure that where you're staying this time around that they will have food for you to eat for breakfast
