This and The Oath's self-titled are two quite simillar albums, although The Oath is a lot more Rock while this is more Metal. Still quite good.

Finally listening to this and I'm very disappointed. What HAPPENED to Elizabeth's voice? She sounds nothing like her usual brilliance. It's stuck in her throat; no shimmer whatsoever. The same could be said for the songwriting. This sounds like all the rejected b-sides from previous songwriting sessions. Top it all off with the fuzzy mix, which may have been done intentionally to create a specific atmosphere but failed miserably, and this is one forgettable, throwaway album from a usually good band. Too bad.
