First listen is positive. Not as good as the previous one but then again, that one is fucking awesome so I wasn't exactly expecting something as good. But yeah... It's good and the main sound is still there.

This sounds like black metal with some nice doom elements if you ask me. Really great stuff. Highly enjoyable indeed. One of those albums that I enjoy immediately, which is a good thing (for a change).

If you listen really closely you can hear the different melodies pertaining to each song - I get why this can be a tough listen - but the enjoyment is there...you just have to discover it. For some reason I've always ignored this in Voidhanger's bc page because the artwork didn't interest me weirdly, never thought it would be a bm record. Seems this has the guy from Skaphe. Definitely intrigued to check this out now.
