I honestly hope he is just very successful at trolling. I find him hilarious with the language he uses in his reviews and stuff, but I also get why no one wants to be roasted by their peers

Colorado black metal cult Nightbringer have announced the title and release date of their forthcoming new album. The album, titled Ego Dominus Tuus will be released by Season Of Mist in North America on September 30 (September 26 worldwide). Ego Dominus Tuus was recorded and mixed at Flatline Audio Studios by Dave Otero. A teaser with material from their forthcoming album can be found here.
Regarding the forthcoming album, the band issued the following statement: "Nightbringer is extremely proud to unveil our latest album, Ego Dominus Tuus, an undertaking almost exactly one year in the making, from first compositions to the final day of mastering. Ego Dominus Tuus represents the path of ordeal, from the transformative Fires of the Art within the crucible of the underworld, to the revelation of the Daimon to the Guardian at the Threshold and slaying Sun of Death, Light of Lucifer, all contained within the enigma of a sacred name."
Finally a really good album by them after 2 average ones and one which just hit okayish good.
Didn't expect it to be this good on the back of their previous albums.

If it's better than "Apocalypse Sun", I will be more than pleased. In my mind, "Apocalypse Sun" is very close to perfection.

Yeah I'd be toiling with it for ages. If the album maintains the quality of that song I couldn't conceivably see it being worth less than a 7. They've come pretty far from the sound and approach they had 2 albums ago.
Finally listened to a song from this. I can why Ilham likes it, quite a French sounding album (more so than the last one if memory serves).
Yeah I think I said in the review - or didn't, too lazy to check - that it wasn't very USBM sounding. Even if it's a tad too long, I think you could check out the rest of it. You might not love it, but there's not much to hate.

Yeah this sound gets around a fair bit these days but they seem to do it with flair.

All of it's pretty good, but it's 71 minutes of that so I feel like it kind of drags at times.
