I thoroughly enjoyed this release. Not nearly as good as Chino's later work with Deftones, especially Koi No Yokan, which was just a phenomenal album, I found. This also sounded uniquely different from Isis and/or Deftones which was only another strong point.

I'm finding the vocals a bit off putting, sometimes they connect with the rest of the band other times they seem wayward. In the end though found the album fairly enjoyable thanks mainly to the Isis chemistry.

I'm not sure if Moreno's vocals add or detract to this album overall; to be honest I really like the music, and there's definitely elements in the sound outside of what the band produced in Isis that could've very well come from his influence, but as far as the vocals themselves go, sometimes they work well and elevate the music, but at other times they seem a bit out of place or distracting. Obviously having to write vocal melodies for the full album, rather than having the vocal side dominated by extreme vox, raises challenges, but I'm slightly torn over the success. Still, it's a very likeable album overall
