How the hell do you judge an album like this? It's so good, yet simultaneously flat and deflated. Welcome to Starless Aeon... an album of amazing atmosphere built through cavernous production, yet somehow is just irritatingly substance-less.

Pretty damn excellent, shame I missed this one back in 2014. As did most people it seems. Love that swirling, creepy ambient nature of it. Evil stuff. Tracks 2 and 3 are out of this world, perhaps to the point where they make the opening and closing tracks seem a lot less good.
