A great album from an unheard band. Strongly recommended

It's funny how the lyrics on this album seem quite standard but take a completely different meaning once you know that the entire album is about Anakin Skywalker and his transformation into Darth Vader.

Pretty cool album, the Star Wars theme is cool, but goddamn they missed out on a huge opportunity by not including light sabre noises.

Probably didn't wanna run the risk of Lucas suing them.

I don't think they ever had the intention to include something like that.
The album seems to be made deliberately in a way that if you just hear the music without reading the lyrics or knowing that it is about Star Wars, you can simply experience it like any other Black Metal album.

Unlike their first album, in which the Star Wars themes were quite obvious, the Star Wars connection here seems to be on the second degree. In fact they describe the album as a concept album, "that follows the story of an individual from his conception and follows him down a path that grows darker and darker." It can relate to any individual and not only specifically to Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. I see the entire album as a metaphor.

Excellent album. There's no filler here; every track is great. Not a big fan of Star Wars? You don't need to be. Give it a listen and support these guys. One of the best black metal records I've listened to this year.

I like the guitar and the album art is gorgeous. Unfortunately the structures are a bit boring and the vocals are in an annoying, repetetive cadence.

Spun it once so far but definitely going to spin it more. Really enjoyable stuff. Loads of variety in their sound.

Really great melodies and sound! They make long songs feel short, which is obviously a sign of good writing. The only thing I don't adore are the vocals; though they kind of fit the theme and the style, they're just too one-dimensional, and not very well delivered.

'A Blighted Hope' brought me here. The second half of that song surely stands out from the average

I like the fact their logo is designed to look like a Vader's TIE Advanced x1 fighter.

Some cool riffs & melodies here. Shame on poor drumming (I assume it is drum machine) and alittle bit boring vocals.
I´m digging it, though last third or so was a bit worse
