Taking the curt clarity of punk and fusing it with extreme speed metal is, and always will be a really natural mix. It's so simple, yet satisfyingly primal it's pretty hard to mess up, right? Wrong. Despite being an album with the right ideas in the right places, Accelerate is a nifty example of everything that can go wrong with this fusion. Read more ›› |

Can't say I agree wtih this review, this album really sounds like a good mix of speedmetal and punk to me. Songs are catchy, provides a good headbang portion and everything's in order. Production could be better but i think it helps get you in the mood. It's not a masterpiece or anything close to it, it doesnt aim to be something new and exciting, it's just a big fist of speedmetalpunk hitting you in the face. 7.5/10
