Guest review by

After Swedish power metal act Hammerfall's less than impressive 2000 release Renegade , the band have rethought their game plan of attack and come up with their fourth release Crimson Thunder. While the formula has hardly changed, there is a slight change of pace within Hammerfall's traditional power metal roots.

Rating: 7 I needet band what I have only one CD so i pick this one , and gave a try before leave to do bussness in skattewerket
so seems band liks playing PM and they do it from hearth, this is not bad as other bands who spmply play, even I am not BIG fan of this band, but maybe once in time I can listen

Rating: 7 One of the band's better albums in my opinion, simply because I believe it's more consistent than their previous offerings. Probably not saying much given that Hammerfall have always been a one-trick pony essentially, but most of the songs here deliver, even if they don't really stand out as much. "Lore of the Arcane" is a personal highlight.
