Anyone seen a stream for this?

Their label's bandcamp stream it if I'm not mistaken.

I would be surprised if it hasn't leaked yet. I already have the official promo for two months.

In a month filled with slow-burners, more atmospheric offerings, and some down-right chill stuff; Neolith gripped me right away to fulfill my need for hard-hitting, barbaric violence. There is admittedly more than a little Behemoth here, particularly in the vocals, but the guitars offer far more thrash and the addition of trippy synth work creates even further distancing. More than once the riffs caused me to make the "oooooooo" face. Tons of fun, listen to this at their bandcamp now.

The record gets better as you progress through the songs. I generally think the riff-work doesn't really pack quite the punch one would have hoped for, although there are definitely moments where it trends toward that territory, like on "Enlil" with that vomit inducing disonant legato based riff and onwards into the heavy groove riffing. There's something there on most of the songs, they just never seem to fully capitalize on it, which is a shame. and there are those damn synth-parts....

I just don't like the use of synths in the songs to be honest. Most of the time it doesn't do anything special for the songs and just seems to be kind of glued on to the track to be there, and they come off as distracting and unnecessary to me. After having listened to the full record I find them to at best be completely unnecessary and not really impacting the songs in any significant way and at worst they get downright annoying and distracting.
