That fucking sucks. It used to be my favourite song out of each of their albums.

Yeah, mine too.
They should do an entire cover album like The CNK did. (And Six Feet Under too, but that doens't count)

And Atrocity. But we never asked them to do it twice. But yeah that would be really cool. To this day I still get confused between the real lyrics and Graveworm's version of the lyrics to Losing My Religion.

Maybe the info we have now is incomplete, or maybe the song they're covering is in there already. But even for such a pop whore as me, I can't seem to recognise any famous title in this tracklist.

100% agreed here. Losing My Religion and Holding Out For a Hero are among my favorite covers ever.

On a related note, I've been WAITING for an "extreme" metal band to do a tasteful cover of a Kate Bush hit, but I'm still FUCKING WAITING.

I wonder if it won't contain any keys/synth tracks since their keyboardist has left the band in 2012!

I would prefer not to.

Ruinous

I commented on the free stream news on this album that I'd give it a listen. I own Scourge of Malice and had practically forgotten about them, until I saw the news headline. So I gave it a try and remembered I should probably reply.

I have to say this album surprised me in a lot of places. While it may not be ground breaking in terms of pushing the Melo-death genre, it didn't feel stale either. It has some nice production going on, particularly with the drums. I zoned in on them instantly for both arrangement and sound.
Definitely worth a spin at least once, it delivers. Will be spinning this again

The vast majority of this record is pretty average by Graveworm standards, no songs really stand out. On the flipside, the production is clean and really makes the instrumentation have that extra punch, even if songwriting doesn't quite reach the same heights. I'd say the best songs here are the opener "The Death Heritage" and "Rise Again", but they're only the best of a relatively bland bunch.

It's 2 years now since this album was released, but I still haven't heard (or found) the Michael Jackson cover 'Billy Jean'.
Is it a real song or was it just planned to be one but never happened?
