A good start for a great BAND

Mm, that's probably the best way to put it. This is in my preferred style; slightly more brutal, more traditionally / properly dm than the stuff after '94. Still don't listen to it all that much... for the most part there's better death before, after, and that came out at the same time as this release. Highlights are probably the artwork, unique-ish vocals for the time and Tägtgren's title track. In some ways this band got better with age

Even in those early stages of death metal, there were many albums that were superior to this.

Go along with u. This album is the gate of hell release devils
and the first point of the masterpiece brutal swedish death metal.

This is days when DM had atmosphere and its not atmo dm. Band simply plays good quality DM, simple tools creates such atmosphere that it blows you away, whit old school mono recordings, old school master skills this is like modern album whit good studio if we compare other dm works from period. It kills. It can teach other wannabe garage grinders how to play DM

It was a really good debut from one of the most memorable bands of Melodic Death Metal genre.
