Sons Of Northern Darkness is Immortal's seventh studio album, following the good but not great Damned In Black. The expectations were pretty high for this record, especially that Damned In Black could not fully live up to the majestic At The Heart Of Winter. So, is this new album worthy of Immortal? Does it deliver that cold, chilly Immortal-esque feeling that we all love? Let's find out.

The DVD's a waste of time. Don't bother putting it on unless you just want to listen to it.
"Another day, another Doug."
"I'll fight you on one condition. That you lower your nipples."
"I'll put whatever I want in your mouth!"

Still one of my all time favorite BM albums, among the top 5 for sure
He who is not bold enough
to be stared at from across the abyss
is not bold enough
to stare into it himself.

Bad English
Great album, better then previously version and seems band came back whit something, and I dont remember reason why band did split up, but this is good, a little bit winter touch, not such strong as before, but you can feel it, my fav song is In My Kingdom Cold
Life is to short for LOVE, there is many great things to do online !!!

Love the influence Zeppelin has on black metal, especially on tracks like "Tyrants" and Behemoth's "O Father O Satan O Sun" that both borrow the main riff from "Kashmir".
Prettier than BloodTears.

So far I don't like it as much as At the Heart of Winter. Let's see how more spins do this album justice.
