When the hell was this announced? Shit, I wouldn't have even known this existed if I hadn't been browsing the new releases just now

That's why we have "New Releases" under "News & Events".

I find it amusing that i re-read my review of their last album over the weekend, completely oblivious to the new release as well.

Haha, this seems to have slipped under everyone's radar somehow, mine too.
Don't remember much from the debut, but I'll be listening to both releases some time soon.
EDIT: Listened to both, definitely preferring this one right now.

I don't even know if I can explain what it is about this album that's so good, but shit, in a year of great black metal this is right up amongst my favourites. The debut was solid but this is real top notch

My 2015 AOTY big guy Its so good because the production is some of the best I've heard for a post black metal album ever.

It didn't quite hold up on subsequent listens in the same way a couple others from last year did, but it's certainly in my top 10, and got my vote for the (for some reason) sludge/stoner category

I argued about that with the MS brass. I feel it has been misplaced. This album sticks out like a sore thumb with the other artists in that category.

It's a (blackened) sludge album. There you go.

Aye, the production here is spot-on. Also, the album's flow is so insanely nice.

Fell completely in love with this band after seeing them at Incineration Festival during the summer.
Since then, I've been trying to track down reasonably priced copies of their records on vinyl. I now own a red vinyl copy of this beaut to sit alongside Ascension, so I just need to find a copy of the debut for the set.

I've really been getting into this band lately they have such a remarkable sound quality. Although this is a great release I don't find it to have the overall consistency of Ascension, but "A Sheep Among The Wolves" and "The Incandescent March" are phenomenal tracks.
