With Twilight Cinema being one of the best and imaginative albums of 2014 (in my opinion of course), there is just no way you would not want to see this manic band perform this album almost in its entirety live and then do some more. That's right, not just hear but also see it live. Drop whatever series you were planning on watching and have a go at this one instead. This is just so much pure fun!

Watch on YouTube or listen at Bandcamp.

Either this is a pretty bad mix or the band is just not that good live. Or maybe the mix on the album was so good that it really showed the best of these songs. Whatever the reason, this sounds pretty empty, lifeless, and clean for a live album.

I remember watching some fan recorded live shows before and not thinking it was very great. Can't tell if they were drunk, or what, but timing was sloppy and his voice didn't really pack much of a punch. Either they really focused on cleaning it up (though I did notice a couple of guitar goofs) or they did a lot of overdubs for the DVD.

I suppose since they are a reasonably small band, they missed a lot of the textures and stuff that go on in the album. There were some backing tracks, but there is only so much the keyboard player can do, and I think that hampered them a little.

Yes, I forgot to add that overdubs could be a reason why I don't like it.
