Their most significant (and easily best) album since the 2001 classic "Novembrine Waltz." With the woman on the cover, it could have easily come out in 2002 as the resolution of a trilogy with "Classica" being the first.

While the past two albums are crushingly depressive and derealization inducing, this album hints at some kind of resolution. It really is something special for long time followers of the band to see this kind of change.

This time around it's very reminiscent of earlier work while catchy and not as gloomy. For example, the track "Annoluce" features a sweeter almost celebratory vocal melody at the end, something I've never heard from the band yet actually sounds like it could be them at their best. On a side note and unlike the previous two albums, Carmelo doesn't overdo his vocals here, but rather stays in a safer middle ground (not AS whiny here). Massimiliano's guitars are mesmerizing and will put a smile on the face of old time fans, maintaining an overall more positive tone. The guitar and vocal melodies sound as natural as if they flowed from the band at a time of peace. Nothing is forced here. There is also the use of some interesting instruments and voice overs here and an instrumental, "Agathae."

In the end, songs are not as linear or impactful as those on Classica or Novembrine Waltz, but this album feels like a natural free style continuation in the spirit of those two albums, which I think, is for the better. I truly hope to see more clean vocals like seen at the end of Annoluce.

Nice album... i like the guitar melodies and song structures in general.. but the clean vocals were a major turn-off. I prefer vocals where I can make sense of the notes, and understand the lyrics. here, the vocals are something between whispers and humming, and same in all songs, boring.

nevertheless, a nice return to form.

Everything sounds good until I hear the clean vocals - so annoying! You can never quite hear what he is singing but you feel you should be able to. Novembre has always been a band I should like but I can never make it through their albums more than a few times.

Being a HUGE Novembre fan, my expectations were really high. After listening a dozens of times I can say that this album satisfies me. Artwork is awesome. No fillers. Weird but amazing clean vocals. I think the wait is worth
