I really hope this will be good! Would be so nice if my favourite band could give farewell with a few more good songs. Can't wait to see them live this summer.

I love Black Sabbath, but an EP sized album of new material priced at full LP price by adding live songs is insulting. If they didn't have time to write and record enough good material to fill an album, they shouldn't be charging full price. Fans will want the new songs, so they padded it to charge more.

If only there was some way to distribute the new material without the filler??? hmmmm.

Yes, some fast, modern way that doesn't require pressing vinyl... hmmmm...

First of all it will be a CD and not an LP and second of all nowhere does it say it will be priced as a full length. Only thing known about this ep is that "This new special limited edition CD will be sold exclusively at shows on the legendary band's massive worldwide final tour."

I don't know anything about this and couldn't care less about it, was just replying to the guy's comment. And whether it's vinyl or not was definitely not the point of my comment, as I'm sure you know

Definitely listen before you buy.

Considering this wasn't listed as an EP the other day, that old farts like me call any full album an LP, because we're old enough to have listened to records, and that it was a valid complaint if it was a full album, Marcel can fuck off.

The news article posted on January 15th mentions it as an e.p. See here: http://www.metalstorm.net/events/news_comments.php?news_id=28381
And seeing it has four left-overs from the 13-sessions and four live songs that might have been a giveaway as well.

Funny how you call yourself an old fart when in fact I am almost nine years older

Under the Sun is the only song worth hearing and I suggest just throwing in Volume 4 for that. I thought Heaven and Hell was a genuine effort to make good new music while revisiting the Dio era Sabbath tunes. These last 2 releases from Sabbath are just piss poor cash grabs that I cannot stomach. I am glad Bill Ward didn't participate in this garbage. Since Ozzy became super celeb I cannot take anything he does serious nor have I ever really. He has long lost touch with ordinary life.
