Was listening to this while trying to sleep...then "III. The Sound" started playing. I think that might have been the first time music has ever made me terrified.

With the mixed takes on the last album I was suspicious, but damn this is solid. The first few minutes were a little rocky though. Quirky, just how I like my prog.

With the mixed takes on the last album I was suspicious, but damn this is solid. The first few minutes were a little rocky though. Quirky, just how I like my prog.

I'm still in the process of listening to it but holy shit they are all over the place on this album. When I staff picked their début I figured they'd get a bit more sense into where they are going. I'm not sure if there is a proper direction to this album. Maybe repeated listens will unravel a bit of sense underneath.
